Our ceremony occurs at three o’clock on the first Sunday of every month at the RAF Memorial in Brookwood Military Cemetery. Everyone is welcome.

The ceremony will follow these lines:

  • Welcome
  • Bidding (optional)
  • Poem
  • Individual Remembrance
  • Last Post
  • Exhortation
  • Wreath laying (optional)
  • Silence
  • Reveille
  • Blessing / prayer (optional)
  • National Anthem
  • Kohima Epitaph
  • Inspection (optional)
  • Dismiss / March off

For the Individual Remembrance, we always remember one person, but may remember more if requested. See Individual Remembrances.

Please use the Contact form if you would like to lay a wreath, suggest someone for the Individual Remembrance or say the Exhortation or Kohima Epitaph.

On rare occasions, we may sing a hymn, particularly if a visiting choir has requested so.

All the recent ceremonies that have been held, or other ceremonies that Members of the Brookwood Last Post have attended may be viewed in Past Ceremonies.
